With the 3-port router module, you can arrange the JUMO variTRON automation system in a decentralized and free way. It enables input and output modules to be distributed over several DIN rails or control cabinets. The 2-port router module extends the central unit of the JUMO variTRON automation system by 2 system bus outputs. In this way, the system bus can be transmitted to router modules 3-port (705042) on other DIN rails in the same or in other control cabinets at a distance of up to 100 m. This makes it possible to distribute input and output modules and to decentralize the automation system.

The module offers 32 channels. Of these, 17 are configured as digital outputs by default. Up to 3 option cards with 5 channels each can be used to add digital inputs and outputs. The digital input signals can be further processed in the JUMO variTRON central unit. The digital outputs forward signals that are transmitted by the system bus.
